Using the logo

Do

  • Leave clear space around the logo equal to one node’s diameter.
  • Use the mark alone at 16 px and up, the lockup at 24 px height and up.
  • Use the dark lockup on dark backgrounds and the light lockup on light ones.

Don’t

  • Recolour the nodes or the spark.
  • Add shadows, outlines, gradients or other effects.
  • Stretch, rotate or rearrange the mark and the wordmark.

Name and voice

Writing the name

  • Synapsio in sentences.
  • synapsio in the wordmark, URLs and handles.
  • Never “SynapsIO” or “Synaps.io”.
  • Say it si-NAP-si-o.

Voice

Technical and precise. Short sentences, verbs over adjectives. We explain what happens, not how clever it is. We say connect, remember, search, approve and log. We don’t say revolutionary, magic, supercharge or copilot. Errors tell people plainly what to do next.
